How to Put on an Event
Here are a few helpful hints from the BCQ Team to consider before you register for your FREE quiz pack.
Where is the best place to hold my BCQ?
When deciding on your venue, think about out how many teams you hope to participate; this will help you make sure that the venue is the right size for your event.
How much should I charge each team?
We suggest that you set a fee from £10 to £20 for a team of 4 depending on what you think would be appropriate.
How long will the BCQ take?
The quiz is likely to take 1 and a half to 2 hours, including time for marking. When you are planning the event, work out when you want to finish and work backwards for a start time.
If I need a quizmaster, who should I ask?
You need to recruit someone with lots of confidence, a strong voice, a sense of humour and the ability to be decisive!
